Some examples below.

I love to draw but don't always have as much time as I would like to work on many projects. I used to get into some serious highly detailed black and white portraits.

These days around on my drawing table, when I do have the time I prefer doing sketches with my coloring pencils set.

I dug out some of the fishing related sketches I've done. Unfortunately I've learned that color pencil illustrations loose allot of detail when you try to scan or digitally photograph them. My scanner at home is not the greatest either. Regardless I thought I'd share.

At some point in the future I would like to do some trophy renderings. These drawings will be highly detailed and based of photographs of the catch and drawn to exact measurements of the fish.

I will be adding more to this page in the future, so check back again.

Here is a loose sketch I did of Bob Crupi's 1991 CA largemouth bass. It came real close to (officially) matching George Perry World Record of 22 pounds and 4 ounces. Unfortunately for big bass specialists Bob Crupi his fish of 22 pounds and 1 ounce missed matching the record by a mere 3 ounces.....ouch!

Since then there have been reports of fish breaking the record but none officially weighed. I have heard and read crazy stories of potential records being caught that ranged from one possible world record being snagged to another possible record bass being weighed on a bathroom scale and released. Anyway if you catch a record and feel you must release it use your live well, have it officially weighed in and then go release it.

THE HARDEST THING FOR AN ARTIST TO DO IS TO DRAW ONES SELF.
